El lechoncito de oro
This is a street store based on pork tacos. There are two types of tacos lechon with pierna(leg) or lechon with chicharron both of them are very good. Lechon means Little pig. They have also tostadas and tortas. The Price of tostadas and tortas is 40$ pesos and the Price of each taco is 15 pesos. The store opens at 20:00 hrs. Most locals go there after a night out partying, so if you go is better to go early cause after 11 you might cross paths with some drunk people. Locals love this tacos for me they are ok, In my opinion there are very far from being the best tacos in town but they are something rare and if you wanna experience Oaxaca like a local definitely you have to go to this place. Sauce is very spicy so I would recommend that you only add lemon to your tacos, tostada or torta and if you wanna try the sauce just add a bit cause it is extremely spicy as you know Oaxacans love spicy sauces. My friend whom I went with told me she could go 4 times a week because she likes them so much and I have lots of friends who love this tacos. For me they were ok but definitely there is a deep cuisine in Oaxaca so I would rather keep exploring. It is important to note that there are not toilets since it is Street food. However there is a place where you can sit. And there is no socioeconomically target for this Street food even it looks like a simple Street food you will see people in fancy cars make a stop for their tacos as well as working class Oaxacans and party animals in the late hours of the night. Almost all locals like them so it is worth for a tourist trying the local cuisine and places where locals eat. However this kind of food is a very local thing so if you are not sure you will like them just ask for one taco and then if you liked it you can ask for more.
